Adam Cheong
Proof School | San Francisco, California | adam@cheong.net
A high school student with a strong interest in biomechanical engineering and robotics, Adam interns at a robotics startup in San Francisco from day one. Adam’s science projects since 7th grade, from hydroponics to computational biology, have won STEM fair awards every year. Adam is currently a member of the Masason Foundation.
Adam has taken a rigorous computer science course at UC Berkeley as a pre-college scholar. This summer, he’ll reside at Bowles Hall while taking additional CS and data science classes. Adam enjoys the great outdoors. He’s a certified scuba diver as well as avid alpinist who has summited Mt. Shasta, Mt. Hood, and the Brokeoff Mountain.
Adam is skilled at bouldering; his twice weekly routine combines puzzle solving with physical feats to chart a navigable course on the vertical face of a wall — exercising brain and brawn. Adam aspires to become a biomedical engineer harnessing AI and robotics for the betterment of humankind. He looks forward to iGEM 2026 Jamboree.
