Adam Cheong

A high school senior with a strong interest in biomechanical engineering and robotics, Adam is also founding intern of Watney Robotics from day one. Adam’s science and engineering projects since 7th grade, from hydroponics to computational biology, have won multiple awards at STEM fairs. Adam has been a Masason Scholar since 2025.
Adam has taken undergraduate courses in program structure, data structure and data science at UC Berkeley over two summers, and is a pre-college student ambassador. An avid alpinist who enjoys the great outdoors, Adam climbed the Brokeoff Mountain and Mt. Hood, and had summited Mt. Shasta and Mt. Fuji. He’s a certified scuba diver, too.
Adam is skilled at bouldering; his twice weekly routine combines puzzle solving with physical feats to chart a navigable course on the vertical face of a wall, exercising brain and brawn. Adam recently participated in 2026 iGEM Jamboree and aspires to be an expert in biomechanics harnessing physical AI for the betterment of humankind.
